TankSonarRF – LoRa RF based long range (2km) automatic wireless water level controller

In places where water pump and water tank are placed on the opposite sides of a road or where there is considerable distance(up to 2kms) between water tank and water pump as in government water authorities, community water distribution systems, hospitals and other institutions, a wired water level controller that require a wire from tank sensor that connects to the pump controller cannot be installed or is not practical. Here is where TankSonarRF fits in.

TankSonarRF automates water pump operation based on water levels in a tank up to 2 kilometres(guaranteed air distance) away from the pump. Thanks to LoRa RF – a long range secure RF technology that reliably transmit signals to start and stop pumping based on water levels in the tank even in urban townships and dense forests.

Users can also monitor live water levels in the tank and get notified on their phone when water levels cross lower and upper threshold and pump starts/stops.

When you order TankSonarRF, you receive a package including two devices:

1. TankSonar -Solar powered ultrasonic echo based water level sensor unit mounted on the water tank. Original Samsung Li-ion battery keeps the device powered up during night with solar recharging function. Ultrasonic echo based water level sensing technology enables contactless water level sensing at centimetre accuracy. Hence, the sensor does not corrode or undergo any kind of wear and tear, unlike float switch type sensors. Connect provided 867.5MHz antenna to TankSonar to transceive signals with the motor control unit (Remotor)
2. Remotor -GSM based Motor control and protection unit that connects to your single phase / three phase motor starter. Remotor communicates with users over the GSM network and receives tank water level signals from water tank over LoRa RF. Users may monitor live water levels and receive notifications over SMS and Potts Tree Hub Mobile App.
